Strom Law Firm and Bannister, Wyatt & Stalvey held a press conference Tuesday discussing the case they are heading in the Rockstar Cheer child sexual abuse scandal.
The attorneys with the two law firms said multiple victims have already come forward to them from across the nation who were affected by the cheerleading and dance gyms' alleged sexual misconduct over the past two decades.
Bakari Sellers, one of the attorneys with Strom Law Firm, says various pieces of evidence of the actions has been collected and that they expect to file next week.
He continued that the now-deceased Scott Foster was not the only individual involved and said that the gyms created a culture that enabled and protected the sexual misconduct.
James Bannister of Bannister, Wyatt & Stalvey explained that many victims never came forward to due threats and fears of retaliation from the gyms.
Since the allegations surfaced, many gyms across the country have since dropped the Rockstar Cheer branding.
