A lawman known by some as "Long Arm Leon" wasn't joking when he said parents of juvenile offenders could also be charged. Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott has announced the arrest of 41 year old, Sade Grooms. She's charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
The Sheriff says the charge comes after her 16 year old son, was allegedly involved in a shooting that left another teen dead, earlier this month. Investigators say over 70 rounds were fired in the incident.
The 16 year old and two others have already been arrested in the shooting. Investigators say, another suspect in the shootout remains at large at this time.
