It'll be no more La Rumble for La Rumba. A Columbia night club has been shutdown after a shooting there over the weekend left four people injured. Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott announced that club La Rumba on Decker Boulevard was being shutdown, Tuesday.
Lott held a press conference and put a padlock and chain on the club's door. Lott said that Richland County Deputies have been called to the club more than 80 times in the last two years. The latest incident at La Rumba was a shooting early Sunday morning, that left four people wounded.
This is the second Columbia club Lott has shut down due to violent crime. As of this time, there's been no arrests announced in connection to the shooting.
