A Low Country man is dead after a boat crash in Horry County, Thursday afternoon. The Coroner's Office there says 79 year old Harvey Altman of Loris died from injuries suffered in the wreck.
The South Carolina Department Of Natural Resources says the two boat collision happened just before 1PM on the Pee Dee River near a bridge along Highway 701.
There's been no word on any injuries to the other boater involved and the crash remains under investigation by the SCDNR.
