Lt Governor Pamela Evette was in Greenville Friday morning to speak at the county’s Veteran’s Day celebration.
Friday is Veterans’ Day, and a celebration was held at the County Square honoring the nation’s veterans.
The Lt Governor, a Greenville native, was among the speakers Friday morning, where she thanked veterans for their service and discussed the work she and Governor McMaster have done to support veterans.
“The Governor and I couldn’t thank our veterans more for what they’ve done and the sacrifices that they and their families have done for this country, for this state,” Evette said. “So we will continue to work hard to attract veterans to our state. We want when they leave service to come here and call South Carolina their home.”
