The body of a man on railroad tracks in Union County Tuesday has been identified. 32-year-old Matthew Price was found dead Tuesday after deputies responded to a late morning call about the body. Deputies found the body on railroad tracks near Short Street and Monarch Highway in Union.
An investigation has begun, and an autopsy is scheduled to assist in the investigation. The Norfolk Southern Railway is also investigating the death.
