An investigation is ongoing after a body was found inside burning vehicle, in the Upstate over the weekend. Deputies were called to East Butler Road in Greenville County just after 7 PM, Sunday after a 911 caller reported a vehicle fire.
When deputies arrived, they discovered a man dead inside the vehicle. The victim’s identity has not yet been released.
The Sheriff’s Office is urging anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers of Greenville at 864-24-CRIME. Tips can remain anonymous.
