A woman is facing charges after a stabbing in Western North Carolina earlier this month, left two people hospitalized.
The Asheville Police Department responded to Mission Hospital around 230AM the morning of June 4th, after two women arrived with stab wounds.
Investigators say the stabbing happened at an apartment complex on Atkinson Street. The suspect was then identified as 23 year old, Mercedes Morgan.
She was arrested a week later on two counts of assault with a deadly weapon and carrying a concealed weapon. Morgan was booked into the Buncombe County Jail on a bond of $75,000 and has since been released.
