City of Greenville Mayor, Knox White, has proclaimed Tuesday, December 12th "Share the Warmth Day" in Greenville. The program sponsored by Piedmont Natural Gas provides funding for people who need help paying their energy bills.
Customers can easily participate and donate to "Share the Warmth" through Piedmont's "round up" program. Essentially, a customers monthly natural gas bill will be rounded up to the next whole dollar with 100% of the difference going to Share the Warmth according to Community Relations Manager Hank McCullough. Non-customers can also participate by mailing a check to Piedmont Natural Gas.
Piedmont customers can enroll easily in Share the Warmth through one of the following methods:

- Filling out the form on the back of their bill
- Calling Piedmont at 800.752.7504
- Texting SHARE to 21209 (message and data rates may apply)
