The Greenville County Coroner's Office has released the cause of death for a 17 year old employee at Frankie's Fun Park, Friday.
Kamel Sewell of Simpsonville, a Fountain Inn High School Junior was an employee at the Amusement Park on Woodruff Road in Greenville. He was on a go-cart and collided with an industrial fork lift on the site.
The Coroner's report said Sewell died of blunt force trauma to the head and the death has been ruled an accident. Park management in a statement said they were providing information and assistance to law enforcement and OSHA as the death is investigated.
The family's attorney in a statement said the family is gut-wrenched and wanted answers but asked for privacy during their time of grief.
