A suspect is in custody after dozens of shots were fired during a weekend standoff in the Upstate. The Pickens County Sheriff's Office responded to the area of McLanahan in Liberty, just after 7PM Friday.
Upon arrival, deputies found that the suspect Alan Rufus Locklear barricaded himself in the home. A SWAT Team was called in and eventually took Locklear into custody.
The Sheriff's Office says Locklear is charged with attempted murder after firing over 50 shots during the standoff.
