The South Carolina Highway Patrol says one person is dead following a weekend motorcycle wreck. The motorcycle was the lone vehicle involved in the crash. The wreck happened just after 12 PM Saturday on Burns Bridge Rd. just west of Anderson.
The accident report says the motorcycle was traveling eastbound on Burns Bridge when the driver lost control, ran off the road and crashed. The SCHP says the driver was not wearing a helmet and was ejected on impact.
The driver was flown to Anmed Hospital in Anderson and later died from injuries suffered in the crash. The name of the driver had not been released as of the time of this report.
