One person is dead after a crash between a truck and a motorcycle in Cherokee County. The crash happened just after 1:30 PM Wednesday, on West Cherokee Street near Blacksburg.
The South Carolina Highway patrol says a Chevy truck collided with an Indian motorcycle. The motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital, where he later died. The driver of the truck was not injured.
The deceased has been identified as 77 year old, Ralph Coggins Jr. of Cowpens.
