A Western North Carolina woman is facing charges after apparent mayhem in the mountains. The McDowell County Sheriff's Office says 26 year old, Laken Faith Hensley assaulted a woman and child, before assaulting a Deputy.
Upon arrival, deputies met with a victim who said Hensley came home intoxicated and assaulted her and a child. Hensley then reportedly resisted arrest and assaulted a Lieutenant who was on scene.
Hensley was taken into custody. She faces a list of charges ranging from kidnapping, child abuse, assault by strangulation, assault on an officer and other crimes.
