A murder investigation is ongoing after a missing teenager was found dead in Western North Carolina. As we previously reported, 18 year old Joseph Rose was found dead in the Candler Community of Buncombe County, earlier this month.
The Asheville Police Department says Rose had been reported missing on December 2nd. Now, the Buncombe County Sheriff's Office says his death is being investigated as a homicide.
Officials say autopsy results prompted the investigation. There's been no suspects named or arrests announced as of the time of this report.
