The owner of a brewery in Charlotte says she is parting ways with her husband and co-owner after his arrest on child sex crime charges, earlier this month.
The move comes after 44 year old, Justin Brigham was arrested after allegedly raping a 13 year old girl, earlier this month. Officials say Brigham entered the girl home in Stanly County, North Carolina and raped her.
He was arrested while naked inside a vehicle close to the home. Sycamore Brewing's Principle owner Sarah Taylor says, Brigham has been removed as co-owner of the brewery and she has started divorce proceedings.
Despite Taylor's efforts to distance herself and the brewery from Brigham, many stores and bars have allegedly pulled the brewery's products.
Taylor has said that the brewery's taproom on Charlotte's South End will be closing next week but will be reopening in the near future.
