A North Carolina teenager is facing charges after a wrong way crash in Charlotte left two people dead, over the weekend. Officials say that a vehicle was going the wrong way on I-277 in Uptown Charlotte, early Sunday morning and caused a crash.
The suspect driver has been identified as 19 year old, Kati Gissel Covarrubias Barron. Two other people suffered serious injuries in the crash.
Investigators say, that Barron admitted to having several mixed drinks in the two hours prior to the crash. She is facing two counts of 2nd degree murder and other charges.
