Officials have now come to a conclusion in the investigation of an Upstate man, who was found dead over the weekend. As we previously reported, Belton Police Department responded to a home on Rice Street around 12:30, Saturday Afternoon.
When they arrived, the body of a man was found under a house. The death was initially considered suspicious pending an investigation and results of an autopsy.
However, officials now say the death has been ruled a suicide. The Belton PD says, the identity of the deceased will not be released out of respect for the family's privacy.
