Greenville County’s long-anticipated move to the newly-constructed administrative building is finally set for next week.

On Monday, July 17th, the old county square parking lot will be roped off, and most offices will be empty as the new administrative building and free parking garage will finally open to the public.
Greenville County Governmental Affairs Coordinator Bob Mihalic said the county staff have been long-awaiting this move and are excited for the streamlining of the county’s new physical layout for both the back-end offices and for the public.

The old building, which used to be a mall before it was converted into the county square, will be demolished as a new business park, shopping center, and more are built over the next five to eight years that will connect the area more seamlessly to the rest of downtown Greenville.
