A presidential candidate took to social media to react to a personnel move by a national cable network. Former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley had something to say about today's announcement that CNN had fired Don Lemon.
The move comes after Lemon stated on CNN programming that Haley was " past her prime". Lemon said " a woman's prime is in her 20s, 30s and possibly 40s". Lemon later apologized for his comments via Twitter. When news broke today (Monday) of CNN parting with Lemon, the 51 year old Haley posted the below tweet following the announcement regarding Lemon. Her campaign is now selling coozies that say "Past My Prime? Hold My Beer". Haley is set to hold a campaign event May 4th at the Cannon Centre in Greer.
