A non-profit organization is offering free pop-up clinics in the Upstate this weekend.
Remote Area Medical, or RAM, is offering free pop-up clinics this Saturday, March 18th and Sunday, March 19th in the Greenville area.
The pop-up clinics will be set up at Greer High School, with the parking lot opening at midnight Friday night and doors opening at 6am.
The clinic will operate on a first-come first-serve basis, offering dental, vision, and medical care to those in need. Due to expected demand, RAM says that patients should be prepared to choose between Dental and Vision services.
This is the first full-scale event of its kind from RAM in the state, with smaller services having been offered in 2016 following Hurricane Matthew.
Services available at the free RAM clinic will include dental cleanings, dental fillings, dental extractions, dental X-rays, eye exams, eye health exams, eyeglass prescriptions, eyeglasses made on-site, women’s health exams and general medical exams.
