Fifth District U.S. Congressman Ralph Norman has announced his bid to be South Carolina's next Governor. The Rock Hill Republican held an event there Sunday to launch his campaign.
In his speech at the event Norman laid out some of his top priorities. If elected he would like to impose term limits on state legislators. Norman also vows to "Clean up Columbia".
He joins Lt. Governor Pam Evette, Attorney General Alan Wilson, and State Senator Josh Kimbrell on the GOP side of the ticket. Congresswoman Nancy Mace is expected to run but has not made any formal announcement, at this time.
