A Polk County, North Carolina man faces sex crime charges after a weekend incident in Oconee County. 35 year old, Taylor Judson Hutcherson of Mill Spring was booked on charges of criminal sexual conduct, indecent exposure, assault and public disorderly conduct.
The Oconee County Sheriff's Office says, a woman told them that she was walking with Hutcherson from Atlanta to Greenville, Sunday afternoon. The two then stopped at a store on Highway 11 in Southern Oconee County, they then walked towards I-85 and set up camp in the woods.
The woman told investigators that Hutcherson inappropriately touched her sexually and then picked up a stick and tried to hit her with it, she then called 9-1-1. When a deputy arrived Hutcherson was naked, visibly drunk, and became belligerent. Hutcherson was taken into custody and was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center.
