A suspect has been arrested in connection to a mass shooting in North Carolina, over the weekend. As we previously reported, the Catawba County Sheriff's Office responded over the weekend to a shooting at a house party in Hickory.
One person was killed in the shooting, he's been identified as 58 year old, Shawn Patrick Hood. 11 others were injured in the incident. A suspect 20 year old, Garron Killian of Lenoir was arrested yesterday in connection to the shooting.
Investigators say more than 80 shots were fired and there were multiple shooters, so more arrests are expected. Police had been at the party earlier that same night for a noise complaint, prior to the shooting.
