An Oconee County man is dead after a collision between a motor scooter and a Kia sedan. The crash happened around 2:30 Wednesday afternoon on Highway 11 near Mountain Road in Oconee County.
The Highway Patrol says the motor scooter was traveling north on Highway 11 and the Kia was traveling east on Mountain Road when the collision occurred.
The driver of the scooter was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. He's been identified as 41 year old. Dusty Abercrombie of Seneca.
The crash remains under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
