Two pedestrians were hit while walking in the roadway in Laurens County early Thursday morning. The crash left one of the pedestrians dead and the other injured.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol says Around 4AM, a Nissan pickup on Highway 476 at Holly Grove Church Road hit two pedestrians, around 4AM. One of the pedestrians was pronounced dead at the scene and the other was hospitalized.
The name of the deceased has not been released, as of this time. The crash remains under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
