One person is dead after a single vehicle crash in the Upstate over the weekend. The fatal wreck happened around 2:45 Sunday morning on Highway 10 in Greenwood County, near Greenwood Mills Farm Road.
Master Trooper Mitchell Ridgeway of the South Carolina Highway Patrol reports that the driver of a Mercedes sedan lost control, went off the road, struck an embankment and overturned.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, their identity has not yet been released. The crash remains under investigation by the Highway Patrol
