One person is dead after a weekend crash on a major highway in the Upstate. The crash happened just before 5AM Sunday near mile marker 92 on I-85 in Gaffney.
Cherokee County Coroner Dennis Fowler says the driver lost control, ran off the road and overturned multiple times.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, he's been identified as 42 year old, Jeffrey Ray Mullinax of Blacksburg. Fowler says the driver was not wearing a seatbelt. The crash remains under investigation.
