One person is dead and another is injured after a weekend house fire in the Upstate. The Anderson County Coroner's Office says firefighters responded to a report that a trailer on Hall Road was on fire, around 11:45 PM Friday.
Two people were inside the trailer when it caught fire. The coroner’s office said one of the occupants of was flown to Augusta Burn Center for treatment. The other occupant was killed in the fire, he's been identified as 49 year old, Michael Chris Robinson.
Officials say that the initial investigation shows that the fire was likely caused by a heater inside the home. The incident remains under investigation.
