One person is injured and a suspect is in custody after a shooting in Greenville, Wednesday evening. County deputies responded to a home on Orders Street in the Poe Mill Community just before 6PM.
Upon arrival, deputies found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to a hospital to be treated. Investigators have arrested 28 year old, Elijah Julius Jenkins in connection to the shooting.
He's charged with attempted murder. There's been no update on the victim's condition and no further details have been released, as of the time of this report.
