The head-on crash of a car and a city bus in Anderson Tuesday afternoon is under state and local investigation, as a "mass casualty event."
The driver of the car, identified as 60-year-old Kellie Cason Griffin of Williamston, died shortly after 1:00 PM at the scene of the wreck on Michelin Boulevard at Roush Street.
A teenager in her car was airlifted to the hospital along with one of the Electric City bus passengers. Eight others were taken by ambulance.
