One person is dead after a crash in the Upstate. The single vehicle wreck happened just after midnight on Old Hodges Road near Fuller Road in Abbeville County.
Master Trooper Mitchell Ridgeway of the South Carolina Highway Patrol says, the driver of a Nissan truck ran off the road, overcorrected then hit an embankment and a tree.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The Abbeville County Coroner's Office has not yet identified the deceased.
