The Lt. Governor of South Carolina has endorsed a candidate in the upcomg runoff for the U.S. Senate Seat, once held by the late Lindsey Graham. Pamela Evette has announced that she is endorsing Darline Graham over Congressman Ralph Norman.
Evette took to social media saying " "South Carolina cannot afford to go backward. We need someone in Washington who will not just talk about conservative principles, but who will actually work to deliver real results for our state, our people, and our nation".
Evette also stated that Congressman Norman "Has put his own agenda and political games" ahead of delivering for constituents.
Graham and Norman will meet in the runoff August 25th. The winner will meet Democrat Annie Andrews in November's general election.
