A man walking on the railroad tracks in Spartanburg's Northside community has died after he was hit by a train. The Spartanburg County Coroner's Office says, 58 year-old Kenneth Wayne Clowney was struck by the train, near the intersection of Fairgrounds Road and Franklin Street.
Clowney was taken to Spartanburg Regional Hospital, where he later died. The incident remains under investigation by the Spartanburg Police Department and County Coroner's Office.
