An Upstate man will spend the next decade and a half behind bars on child sex crime charges. 39 year old, Alfredo Escorza of Pickens pled guilty last week to a charge of 2nd degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor.
Court records show that Escorza sexually assaulted a child between the ages of 11 and 14 years old. Evidence revealed that the sexual abuse happened multiple times in 2023.
Escorza has been sentenced to 15 years in the state prison system.
