Witnesses say a pilot was shaken up but otherwise unhurt when his single-engine Cessna went down in Anderson County, Tuesday afternoon. The pilot told a Craytonville Fire-Rescue crew, that the engine quit shorty after takeoff.
The plane had taken off from a private airport near Honea Path, it lost altitude and clipped some power lines when he tried to turn back. It crash-landed in a field beside a house on Barker Creek Road.
