A new generation of one of the most endangered animals in the world has been born in North Carolina. Officials say, that North Carolina now has four new litters of endangered red wolf pups. The red wolf population increase is due to a conservation program.
That program will keep the pups where they are on private land. Officials say, that less than two dozen adult red wolves exist in North Carolina. However, this pack of pups will help increase the red wolf population in the Tar Heel State.
