Three people in Anderson County have been arrested for running a puppy mill in Belton, over 50 dogs were seized.

Earlier this month, The Anderson County Sheriff's Office received a complaint of ill-treatment of animals at a home on Ellison Road. On February 9th, a search warrant was executed.

33 dogs and 36 puppies were rescued from deplorable living conditions according to the Animal Control Unit. All 69 dogs were taken to Anderson County P.A.W.S. for evaluation. Most had untreated medical related issues, some needed immediate hospitalization for survival.

Kimberly Zech, Timothy Zech, and Michael Zech, were charged with 69 counts of felony ill-treatment of animals, a total of 207 charges.

All three are currently booked at the Anderson County Detention Center.
