A reality tv star from the Upstate will be in federal court for a re-sentencing hearing next week. The U.S. Government will seek a 7 year sentence for Julie Chrisley, an Oconee County native known for her role on the TV series Chrisley Knows Best.
Julie's husband Todd is currently serving a 12 year sentence. The couple has been charged with wire, bank, and tax fraud, tax evasion and obstruction of justice.
The Chrisleys' accountant has also been convicted in connection with the scheme. Julie Chrisley will be re-sentenced next Wednesday, Sept. 25th. Her original sentence was vacated by an Appeals Court.
