A reality TV star with ties to the Upstate was arrested after police say he slapped an employee at a sports bar in Georgia, last week.
Chase Chrisley, son of Oconee County natives Todd and Julie Chrisley was charged after allegedly slapping a worker at the Twin Peaks in Buckhead.
The employee told police Chrisley was extremely intoxicated and belligerent. He was asked to leave multiple times, Chrisley then slapped the employee in the face twice and fled the scene.
Chrisley was later taken into custody. Chase was part of the cast of "Chrisley Knows Best" and "Growing Up Chrisley" which both aired on USA Network. Todd and Julie Chrisley are both currently serving time in federal prison for financial fraud and tax evasion.
Chase's sister Savannah Chrisley spoke at a campaign rally for President elect Donald Trump prior to the election this past November.
