A suspect charged in connection to a murder in Greenville County earlier this year, has been denied bond again. In Late May 40 year old, Colleen D'Ortona was found beaten to death at a home in Travelers Rest.
The suspect 39 year old, Michael Robert Clarkson was later arrested in Anderson County. However he found dead in a jail cell, his death was ruled a suicide. Also charged in connection to D'Ortona's death was 38 year old, Cherith Crown.
She's charged with accessory after the fact and obstructing justice. She was in court Friday asking for bond the 2nd time.
It was revealed in court that Crown was aware that Clarkson was beating the victim over the course of 10 hours from the night of May 27th until the morning of May 28th.
Text messages and videos of the incident between Clarkson and Crown were revealed in court. Crown's 2nd request for bond has been denied.
