A Presidential candidate was in the Upstate for a visit over the weekend. GOP nomination hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy made appearances in Spartanburg and Greenville this past Saturday and Sunday.
The Upstate stops on his tour came after he held events in the Midlands, late last week. Ramaswamy spoke to a group of about 100 people at a meet and greet at a private home in Greenville on Saturday.
Ramaswamy is a successful tech entrepreneur and holds conservative values on abortion, gun control and America's relationship with China.
Despite being one of the lesser known candidates for the Republican nomination, Ramaswamy seems to be looking to make a name for himself on the campaign trail with events like those held this past weekend.
