A Seneca woman has been indicted by a Greenville County Grand Jury on drug and fraud charges. 28 year old Brianna Michelle Hunt was a nurse at Poinsett Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Greenville. The indictment accuses Hunt of using her position to obtain Oxycodone that was prescribed for a patient at that facility.
Hunt faces charges of Theft of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Breach of Trust with Fraudulent Intent. This incident was investigated by the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office, DHEC and the Attorney General’s Office Medicaid Fraud Control Unit.
