An administrator from a local school system is set to be honored next month. The Greenville Drive has announced, that Dr. Burke Royster has been selected as the 16th annual Green Day Honoree. Royster is the Superintendent of Greenville County Schools and his career in educations has spanned over 4 decades.
Greenville Drive owner Craig Brown said " As long-standing supporters of our public schools, the Drive organization knows that there is no more direct and tangible impact on the future than education. As we celebrate Green Day this year, we’re honored to recognize and celebrate Dr. Royster for his efforts in empowering and educating all of our community’s young people"
Dr. Royster will be recognized at Fluor Field Wednesday August 10th when the Drive hosts the Hickory Crawdads.
