The search is on for an inmate who escaped from a Western North Carolina jail. The Henderson County Sheriff's Office says Erick Johnny Perez escaped from the jail there, Thursday afternoon.
He was being held on charges of unlawful entry, trespassing and a migrant detention warrant. Anyone with info on his whereabouts is urged to contact the Henderson County Sheriff's Office at 828-697-4911.
The Sheriff's Office has not revealed ay details on how Perez escaped.
