A visitation is set to celebrate the life of a Furman football player who died last week. As we previous reported, Paladin Junior Defensive Tackle Bryce Stanfield died Friday after a medical emergency during a workout at Paladin Stadium, Wednesday.
Stanfield's family will receive friends starting at 6 PM Monday at Thomas Mcafee Funeral Home in Greenville. Everyone attending is asked to wear Furman purple.
The family says a funeral will be held at a later date in their hometown of Acworth, Georgia. A memorial service is also set to be held on Furman's campus. Details on those services have not yet been released. Bryce Stanfield was just 21 years old.
