More than three decades later an Upstate murder case remains unsolved. The Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office is re-examining a cold case murder from the early 90's.
The victim Ray Ballard was found dead his home in Spartanburg County. He had both stab and gunshot wounds. Ballard was reportedly working as an informant for the Sheriff's Office. Officials believe a robbery had taken place that led to Ballard's murder.
