One person is injured after a shooting at an Upstate lake, Thursday night. The Oconee County Sheriff's Office responded to reported shooting on a beach at Lake Hartwell, around 7:30PM.
Upon arrival, deputies found a 19 year old victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to a hospital to be treated, there's been no update on their condition.
The Sheriff's Office says a group was hanging out at the lake and a fight broke out which led to shots being fired. The incident remains under investigation, no arrests have been announced.
