As an incentive to get people interested in filling needed vacancies, companies began offering sign on bonuses. We have seen and heard of new hire bonuses. However, so many in the workforce worked almost, if not completely continuously during the pandemic. Those that did worked through the pandemic have not gotten widespread bonuses from employers.
