A former high ranking deputy in the Upstate is now facing charges. SLED says 44 year old, Darrell Stuart Kicklighter Jr., a former Lieutenant with the Greenville County Sheriff's Office was arrested last Friday.
He's charged with 2nd degree domestic violence after an incident in May of last year. The arrest warrant says Kicklighter pushed the victim to the ground and choked her.
The South Carolina Attorney General's Office is set to prosecute the case.
